Metodologia
Margem de contribuição = preço − custo variável por unidade. Unidades de equilíbrio = custos fixos ÷ margem de contribuição; receita de equilíbrio = unidades de equilíbrio × preço.
Margem de segurança = (unidades atuais − unidades de equilíbrio) ÷ unidades atuais — a folga de demanda antes de começar o prejuízo.
Pressupõe custos lineares e um único preço. Produtos variados precisam de uma margem de contribuição média ponderada; custos fixos em degraus (ex.: um segundo turno) quebram a linearidade em escala.
